Details

- Venue : Sangarapillai Mandapam, Colombo Tamil Sangham.
On the evening programmes of the “Barathiyaar Vizha” held on 01-06-2012, some
rare documents belonging to periods before 1981 in digital form were presented
to the Colombo Tamil Sangam by the Noolaham Foundation. We all know that
before three decades on the same day, Jaffna Library which then existed as a
huge source of documents belonging to the Tamils was destroyed. Therefore
on the purpose of remembering that incident and to stress the activities and
importance of our immortal digital library, we had organized this event.
