“Pallikoodam”, the education project conducted by Noolaham Foundation with innovative purpose , aims to create a virtual platform that supports and empowers students at the grass roots level within the Tamil speaking communities in Sri Lanka, and promote education as an avenue. To enhance this aims "Pallikoodam" has collaborated with the project of model examination conducted by Tamil students of University of Moratuwa.

Since 2010, Tamil Students of University of Moratuwa have been conducting model examination annually for Tamil speaking students in advanced level science streams, in both Tamil and English medium, all over the country. This examinations replicate the general certificate examinations of advanced level in all aspects.

A Special event was held for this project on 19.05.2013. Sutharshan Sirinivasan, Coordinator of Noolaham Foundation Canada handed over the cheque to the coordinator of the model examination in this event . Director of the Noolaham Foundation Seran Sivananthamoorthy , “Pallikoodam” project director Sureshkumar Kanthasamy and Tamil students' representatives of university of Moratuwa attended this event.
