A meeting was held on 15th of December 2013 at the Kaddapirai Pallikoodam office in Jaffna from 10am to 3pm with the Tamil students of Uva-Wellasa University. Mr. S. Shanmugapriyan, Mr. T. Harishanth, Mr. S. Umadaran, Mr. B. Nirooparaj and Mr. T. Nanthakumaran were actively participating representing Noolaham Foundation in this meeting. The purpose of this meeting was to thank the Uva-Wellasa Tamil students for conducting the pilot examination seminars by establishing 44 centers in the subjects of mathematics and Science for the G.C.E O/L backward students from 100 different schools. The representatives also requested the University students to extend and continue this meritorious service in future and also to conduct peer-to-peer learning programs for the backward Tamil speaking students in Badulla. The meeting was continued after the lunch break with a workshop on providing guidelines for the preparation of project proposal, project implementation and reporting and this meeting came to an end by 3pm.
