He is an old boy of Kalmunai Carmel Fatima College, National School and Graduated as BSc (Agriculture) from Eastern University, Sri Lanka (EUSL) in 1998. Worked as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer at EUSL up to April 2000. Joined Sri Lanka Agricultural Service (SLAgS) in 2000. There after took the position of Assistant Registrar in the University System in 2002.
He has been contributing to the Kalmunai-Net Media Network as Board Member and one of the page editors to its e-paper. He has been serving as an Editor to the Earth Lanka environmental web portal.
He is located in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka.
