Local Chapters

Local Noolaham Chapters are district-level organisations or volunteer teams established within the organisational framework of Noolaham Foundation to facilitate, strengthen, and sustain the Foundation’s engagement with local communities. They serve as an institutional link between Noolaham Foundation and communities within their respective districts, enabling the Foundation to establish stronger local engagement, identify and mobilise community-based information resources, and advance documentation and preservation activities relating to local heritage.

The Chapters undertake and facilitate a range of activities in support of the Noolaham Foundation’s objectives, including the identification, collection, scanning, and digitisation of relevant documentary materials; the development and strengthening of district-level communities that support the work of Noolaham Foundation; local outreach, awareness, and community engagement activities; and the provision of information collection and related support services.
