A fund raising campaign for the ‘Pallikoodam’ project was carried out on Friday 6th December 2013 around Wellawatte to increase the academic benefit for the Sri Lankan Tamil speaking backward students community from 15 districts through direct teaching & mentoring techniques and Moodle interface which has become very popular among educators around the world as a tool for creating online dynamic web sites for their students. On the leadership of Mr. Seran Sivananthamoorthy, Mr. Anuheman Ancnnalingam, Mr. Mayuran Sivanathan, Mr.Thivatharan Jeganathan, Mr. Harishanth Thiraviyanathan, Mr. Sivarajan Balakumaran, Mr. J. Ladeslous, Miss. Gajani Satchithanandan and Miss. Nishanthine Sivanantharajah were actively participated in this campaign.
