Janani is the Communication & Public Relation Associate of Noolaham Foundation. The respective position is responsible to maintain all the contacts of content contributors, volunteers, stakeholders and other organizational bodies and to function as an interface to communicate between the Foundation and other entities. She is also obliged to produce all the publications published by the Noolaham Foundation such as newsletters, newspaper articles, annual magazines, leaflets and etc.

Janani hails from a good family and was born in Colombo in 1989. She is a graduate of B.Sc in biotechnology from the University of Pune, India. Prior to this, she has completed her schooling in Ramanathan Hindu Ladies’ College, Colombo-04 up to the advanced level in the stream of bio science. She has also come up with an innovative research work during her graduation and it is evident in the International Journal of Food Processing and Technology where the abstract of her research work was published. She has also attended many international conferences and possesses the experience and ability to interact with all shades of people. She is trilingual and has developed good verbal and writing skills in Tamil, English and Sinhala.

She has won many medals and trophies in dancing and other extracurricular activities during her graduation and schooling period. She has also been awarded for her distinguished service to the public during tsunami disaster period, the attitude which motivated her to join the Noolaham Foundation rendering its service to the Sri Lankan Tamil speaking community in archiving all spheres of knowledge.

She has also worked for the R.R. Donnelley as the process associate in 2010. She is now following a professional course in BCS (British Computer Society) at Esoft computer studies and a quality management course in Sri Lankan Standards Institute.
