Discussion on Archiving Muslims’ documents
A discussion with Mr. Sajath Mohamed was held on 6th of February 2014, around 4 PM at Noolaham Foundation. Mr. Seran Sivananthamoorthy, Mr. Shanmugapriyan Shanmugam and Mr. Mayuran Sivanathan participated in this discussion on behalf of Noolaham Foundation. Mr. Sajath Mohamed suggested providing documents which available in the Eastern Province, particularly from the Ampara district for Muslims’ archive collections. Accordingly, it was discussed that to contribute activities which will be coordinated and expanded networks through well planned manner in the array of digitization, documentation and archive of Muslim sources. Further, he shared his interests, ideas and thoughts to work with Noolham foundations’ objective of digitizing and archiving knowledge bases collections which are provided by Sri Lankan Tamil speaking communities.
