Shaseevan was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1982. He followed B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics and Statistics) in University of Colombo. He has completed the diploma level in the British Computer Society (BCS) examinations. He has worked as Research Fellow in “Youth, ICTs and Political Engagement in Asia” project which is initiated by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and National University of Singapore (NUS) forming a research collaboration with “Beyond Borders” Sri Lanka. Shaseevan is one of the director of Ezhuna Media Foundation. He is currently initiating the a research institute that coordinates existing talents and aims to provide independent spaces for their interaction and integration.
