Documenting the activities of important personalities from the Tamil speaking communities in Sri Lanka is important. These personalities include writers, teachers, principals, social workers, religious leaders, artists, researchers and political analysts. A project with the objective of documenting the lives and work of such personalities was undertaken in 2013. Until 2015, the histories of 2700 personalities were recorded.
