Lambotharan Sivarajah is the acting Chief Programme Executive of Noolaham Foundation and joined in July 2014. He is contributing the day to day activities and tasks of the foundation, and in charge of the staff and oversee all program and project related activities and reports to the Regulatory Board and relevant stake holders. He is managing projects from original concept through final implementation and ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. And he is the responsible person for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources as needed, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the program and project. Lambotharan had previously served as Program and Communication officer of the foundation from July 2014 – September 2014.
Lambotharan was born in Point Pedro, Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1982. He is a Bachelor of Science degree holder of University of Jaffna and completed graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture at Docklands Campus, University of East London, United Kingdom. He also followed the two years course in English as a Second Language (ESL) conducted by the English Language Teaching Centre, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. He is currently reading for a B. Sc Quantity Surveying at the British College of Applied Studies, Jaffna.
He has served as a project coordinator with Institute of Nursery Studies and Gender Development (INS-GD) for more than a year (2006-2007) and managed North East Coastal Community Development Project funded by Asian Development Bank. He also worked as an Instructor at Department of Computer Unit, University of Jaffna for a period of one year (2007-2008) and served as a visiting instructor in Information Technology (IT) at UOJ, under the IRQUE project funded by world bank for four months. He has assigned a five years foreign assignment as a Network Coordinator in UK with Chanton Group Plc, Middlesex, UK from October 2008 -September 2013.
He had his secondary education at Hartley College, Point Pedro where he has served as a prefect and caption of school cricket team. He has participated in the 8th Sri Lanka University games and achieved first in cricket for 2004. At the University of Jaffna he was awarded full colors in cricket for 2004. Lambotharan was part of the Tamil Union Cricket Club, UK during the 2009 – 2013 season. At West Yorkshire, where he played minor county from 2011 – 2013. He has functioned as president at Thickam Youth Sports Club, Point Pedro in 2006.
He is presently located in Point Pedro, Jaffna.
