Professor Paramu Pushparatnam is one of the Patron of Noolaham Foundation.

He was born in 1955 in Jaffna. He graduated in History from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka and Earn PhD on Archaeology at Tamil University Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. Currently he is head of the Department of History and Archaeology, University of Jaffna.

His research on Epigraphy (Brahmi), Numismatic (South India and Sri Lanka), Art and Architecture (South India and Sri Lanka), Excavation and Exploration. He has published several books on history and Archaeology on Srilankan Tamils. ‘Ancient Coins of Sri Lankan Tamils’(2001), ’Tamil and Tamilar in Ancient Sri Lanka’(2001), ’Origin of Tamil Script - From Ilam to Tamil Nadu’, 'Ancient Coins of Sri Lankan Tamil Rulers' (in English 2002) .

He is located in Jaffna, Srilanka.
