The ‘Noolaham Foundation’ was established in order to preserve the intellectual aspects of the Sri Lankan Tamil Speaking Communities through proper documentation, and to make the documents readily available to all.
Preservation of Heritage of a society is equivalent to the preservation of language and culture of an ethnic group. ‘Sharing knowledge with all’ ensures perpetual development and progress of communities. The Noolaham Foundation which aspires to promote the foregoings, is a non-profitable body functioning with the support of Individuals and Organizations.
The Noolaham Foundation has created a digital library (www.noolaham.org) which is to digitize and share all the publications connected with the Sri Lankan Tamil Speaking Communities. Now, anyone can have access to the different books and publications written by the writers from our community. Many people have come forward to lend their hand to keep the Foundation steady and ongoing as a volunteer or a donor.
Therefore following people will contribute as the Patrons of the Institution from :
R. Padmanaba Iyer (London)
Prof. S. Pathmanathan
Prof. S. Maunaguru
Dr. Chelvi Thiruchandran
Prof. S. Sandrasegaram
Prof. Saba Jeyarajh
Prof. Paramu Pushparatnnam
We invite writers and others to contact us if they wish to include their books in our Digital Library, or to preserve (and share with others) valuable old books / publications.
