Dharmalingam Senthilnathan is the senior Program officer of Noolaham Foundation. The Senior Program Officer is responsible for managing the project portfolio and be the point of contact for all related activities, reports, schedule and status. This position receives very broad guidance from the management and requires a sound level of initiative and problem solving ability. Dharmalingam Senthilnathan was born in 1982 at Mattakelle Estate in Talawakelle. He has followed BA and MA (Political Science) from the University of Peradeniya. He has completed the diploma level in Human Rights at centre for Human Rights studies of University Of Peradeniya, in English at the British Council of Sri Lanka and in Computer studies at Bright Information Technology. He has also completed a training programme conducted by Mr. Mark Rogers (USA) for PDISL on Monitoring & Evaluation as disciplines for Peace building at Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

He has worked as field research assistant for the Ministry of Plantation Community Development and Social inequality eradication in 2006 and has worked as Research Assistant for CARE International on evaluation of community based organization (CBOs) Plantation community in 2008. He was also appointed as a field researcher (social indicator) for the Plantation sector in the Center for Policy Alternatives from 2006 to 2009. He has also submitted a Research report on ‘Potential Conflict between the Ethnicities in the Nuwara Eliya District’ to the Foundation for Co-Existence in Nuwara Eliya in 2009 funded by CIDA & British High commission while working as a Project Coordinator for the same. Then he has joined as a Programme Coordinator for World Vision Lanka (RIWASH 2) in Nuwara Eliya from 2011 to 2012 and later as a Livelihood Coordinator and Mobilizer at the Ministry Of Economic Development under the Project of Second Community Development and Livelihood improvement Project funded by the World Bank. He has also worked as a Programme Officer for ’Better vision Healthy Aging Project’ of Vision 2020 Program under the Ministry Of Health in Nuwara Eliya in 2013 December.

Dharmalingam Senthilnathan was a private Political science teacher from 2002 to 2013 and has produced many students for the university as well as for other various professional bodies in Sri Lanka. His interests are mostly focused on sports, research, education, human rights, political science, peace and conflict mitigation, Livelihood activities and community development.

Dharmalingam Senthilanthan is married and blessed with two kids. His wife works for Ministry of Economic Development in Nuwar Eliya Divisional Secretariat as a development officer.
